About Me

If you know me already, you probably know all about me, and don't need to read much further. But if you're finding me for the first time, READ ON!!!

How do I describe myself without sounding over-confident, self-important, or psychotic? Here goes!

I'm a family man who doesn't get to see his family enough. I value hard work, leadership, continuous learning, and self improvement. Because of that, I tend to perform pretty well in my professional roles, and that keeps me pretty busy. So does my commute.

I've been married to Shelley since March 8, 2003, and we have two girls - Chloe and Alana who both bring me endless amounts of joy. We have a pet beta fish named Stan. Stan doesn't bring me much joy, but he doesn't cause me any problems either. We get along well.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral (Church) Ministry, and a Master's Degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. I've worked in churches, non-profits, education, and business management roles. I'm happy to wear a uniform, dress up, or wear jeans. I have a disappearing hairline that has thus far disqualified me for all of the shampoo commercials I've auditioned for.

I love guitars - playing them, wishing I had more of them, and silently critiquing other players.

I love technology. I use, sell, and service Windows PC's, but I'm also a lover of Ubuntu and Android.

I am a geek. Give me Star Wars, Star Trek, or any space/science fiction, etc... movie or show. You may also include The Walking Dead, Superhero movies, The Science Channel, History Channel, and a few others.

I have a repository of leadership books, as well as theology books which give me an endless amount of quotes. The only fiction I tend to read are those my wife suckers me into reading (Twilight, Hunger Games), which apparently bring out the inner teenage girl who is hiding inside of my soul.

I also value transparency, great leadership, honesty, and grace. Jesus is the best example of how we should live our lives, but most of us get it wrong.
